Geum montanum

Geum montanum, the Alpine avens, is a flowering plant species native to Europe.[1][2] In cultivation in the UK, Geum montanum has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.[3] Geum montanum roots have been used in the traditional Austrian medicine internally as tea for treatment of rheumatism, gout, infections, and fever.[4] Notes ^ Jekka McVicar (1 March 2003).
