Creeping Buttercup

Creeping Buttercup can produce bright yellow flowers in lawns during the early summer after the spring-blooming flowers, such as Claytonia virginica (Spring Beauty), have finished blooming for the year. However, it has the potential to escape into natural areas where it may displace native plants.
