Bark: Bark is boiled and the water drunk as an anti-diarrheal, by the Guyana Patamona. Stem and Leaf: Young stems, bark and/or leaves mixed for an antidiarrhoeic decoction. Stem: Bark is boiled with the bark of Punica granatum and Mangifera indica and drunk to treat diarrhoea. Bark mixed with cashew bark for dysentery remedy. Bark infusion for ringworm.
