Potato

The potato is a herbaceous plant that is native to the Andes of South America. The leaves are pinnately divided, very lightly hairy and are usually dark green. The flowers are various shades of white, pink or purple, have 5 petals and the stamens in a bright yellow cone in the middle of the flower.
