Chaetachme
Trees or shrubs with spines. Stipules large, united along one margin. Leaves alternate; apex with a conspicuous hair-like bristle up to 7 mm. Flowers unisexual; perianth segments 5, deeply concave, with inflexed sides. Male flowers in small, axillary cymes or clusters. Female flowers axillary, solitary. Stamens 5.
