Garden Snapdragon

The name of these plants comes from their flowers. The flowers look a little like a dragon’s head. When a flower is squeezed, the mouth of the dragon snaps open. When bumblebees land on a Garden snapdragon flower, it closes over them. This helps get pollen on the bees. © Sebastian Velvez (licence)
