Stonecrop

There are about 400 species of sedum. These herbs and shrubs usually have flowers with five petals. Some sedums are eaten in salads in Europe. Others are planted on roofs. The Jelly Bean Plant gets its name from its short leaves, which look like red and green jelly beans. © Sebastian Velvez (licence)
